Who knew my dad was such a fashion diva back in his Boy Scouts days? The belt really ties the outfit together, Dad. I am beyond grateful to be your daughter (and mom's). My heart smiles hearing the stories of the day I arrived from South Korea to make you parents for the first time. You made Mom drive home from Logan Airport and pull over every few minutes just so you two could stare at my 7-month old self. I fit in your hands and you both innocently remarked, "Isn't she big?" You were dishing out advice even then, telling me, "The only paper to read is the Wall Street Journal." 36-years later you continue to share your words of wisdom and, of course, humor. You are my mentor, advisor, advocate. You push me beyond my self-initiated boundaries, hold me high, yet ground me in the best possible ways. You love me unconditionally with all of your heart and all I want to do is make you proud for as long as I walk this earth. I love you and all the one-liners you assert, the nicknames you call yourself. And yes, you are funny. Happy Father's Day, my Ichiban!
